Unwind
at THE MISSION INN RESORT & CLUB
SWEET SET-UPS
Unpack and let loose. You are nowhere near “hotel row.”
THE BROAD
POINT OF VIEW
Groups from 20-400 people are easily accommodated, without losing the ambience.
the world’s best archItects use the environment, instead of overwhelming it, in their designs. That’s what you notice with the low-profile Spanish Colonial structures on Mission Inn property. The sprawling oaks and tall palm trees stand above everything as if protecting the peace on the rolling terrain.
Describe the rooms in three words?
Relaxing. Modern. Comfortable.
What’s different about these rooms?
The atmosphere. Each of the 178 guest rooms has modern comforts — Keurig coffee makers, wifi, big flat-screen TVs. But settling down on your own private screened-in patio is about as good as it gets. Out hear you’ll hear the birds, feel the breeze, and get a sense of calm.
Is there an extra-special room?
Any room with golf-course views has to be considered special — and inspiring — and there are plenty of them (the views and the rooms). How about a special gathering spot?
The most obvious place is the fire pit outside El Conquistador. But ask around and you’ll eventually be led through La Fontana courtyard to the Billiards and Game Room (below), where the unwinding really gathers momentum. What kind of groups stay here?
Corporate executives, associations members, alumni groups, and people with company training programs. It’s also the place to be for outdoor events year round, like golf groups and bass tournaments. And perhaps best of all, it’s set up as an ideal escape for girls’ getaways.
TWO
Relaxing hospitality suites, each of them over 1,000 square feet, making them ideal spots at the end of the day.
