Who We Are and What We Do
TeamBuilders’ action-based programs draw working people out of their comfortable environments and present them with challenging situations in unfamiliar and unusual circumstances. The TeamBuilders Outdoor Learning Center at Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort is one of the largest, most professionally designed challenge courses in the country.
We provide an opportunity for groups to overcome challenges and solve problems in ways that stimulate learning and enhance growth both individually and as a team! Through the debriefing sessions that follow each activity, the group reflects on what it has experienced, then transfers that experience with tangible applications back to real world business issues. Individuals learn how they can make unique contributions at any large state of development and how to cope with problems as they develop.
How Does it Work?
TeamBuilders programs are made up of a series of challenges that motivate individuals to function as a team. These challenges include both cognitive and experiential activities. Members of the group must explore new ways of working together in order to be successful. Teams go through three stages of development when moving towards positive change. Awareness, Understanding, & Application.

How Does the Process Begin?
Our programs are custom designed to meet the specific needs of each group in terms of desired outcomes, time frames, and investment. Our highly skilled Program Managers use a variety of assessment tools and techniques to design a program that best meets our clients’ goals. From the initial needs assessment, through the design, implementation, and follow-up of the program. TeamBuilders maintains a professional, collaborate relationship with you, our client. The goal: to build effective teams and to enhance the potential of each team member’s personal and professional life. The payoff to the organization is invaluable.

Our programs are not about physical dexterity or athleticism. TeamBuilders programs are about group dynamics and enhancing organizational performance, so we design our programs to accommodate all age ranges and physical abilities.
Our full choice philosophy encourages every participant to select their own level of challenge and to take an active role in the development of their team and its success. They are asked to step outside their “comfort zone” to stretch beyond personal fears or limitations that may keep them from reaching full potential. Each individual sets the boundaries for their own comfort zone and will not be forced outside it. All that is achieved with the support of the team. |
