Monday, 19 September 2011 11:10

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL  – The Mission Inn Resort & Club will play host to a world-renowned winter program open to golf junior athletes. Gary Gilchrist will offer a winter program allowing junior athletes the opportunity to experience highly intensive training with the best professional coaches in the world, December 18-23, 2011.

The Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy is a year-long junior golf academy that attracts students from all over the world to train at the highest level and achieve peak performance. The 2011 winter camp at the Mission Inn Resort & Club provides the perfect opportunity to experience what their comprehensive training program is all about. Following the same philosophy as the full-time program, GGGA has two types of training options December 18-23, 2011 to fit junior golfers needs this winter featuring Gary Gilchrist's proven "Train Like a Champion" system.

Option 1 is the 'Game Assessment'. Designed for players who would like to experience the GGGA full-time program, juniors can join the GGGA team for a week to assess their overall game with work in technical, mental and physical training with an improvement plan for moving forward. Option 2 is 'Tournament Preparation'. This program is perfect for players looking to focus on tournament preparation and tournament strategy going into competition. "After thorough evaluations of our student's long game, short game, course management, mental skills and fitness level, our certified staff will design a personalized program featuring proven drills and exercises that will guarantee their improvement," says Gary Gilchrist. "We provide them with the tools and knowledge they can take home and excel."

Bud Beucher, Vice President & General Manager of the Mission Inn Resort & Club is looking forward to a successful GGGA camp this winter. "We are proud to be the host site for GGGA. The level of play from their students is unsurpassed", Bud says. "By far, they are the best golf academy for juniors looking to compete at the next level."
