HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FL – The Mission Inn Resort & Club will play host to two world-renowned summer programs open to both elite tennis and golf junior athletes. Home of Justine Henin’s 6th Sense Tennis Academy, and the Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy, junior athletes will have the opportunity to experience weeklong highly-intensive training with the best professional coaches in the world.

Although still respectively a player and a coach, Justine Henin and Carlos Rodriguez opened their United States based 6th Sense Tennis Academy at the Mission Inn Resort & Club in September 2008, and have developed a loyal following of top tennis junior athletes through their yearlong academy programs. The 2010 summer camp weekly programs will offer the opportunity to train with the best professionals in the world. “Our training is

designed for players who want to maximize their tennis potential,” says Cesar Villarroel, Academy Advisor. “It will cover technical and tactical aspects of tennis within an intensive training program, along with physical preparation and a personalized competition program.”

Also available in this summer is the elite Gary Gilchrist Golf Academy, a year-long junior golf academy that attracts students from all over the world to train at the highest level and achieve peak performance. Their camp at the Mission Inn Resort & Club provides the perfect opportunity to experience what their comprehensive training program is all about. Following the same philosophy as the full-time program, summer camp encompasses all areas of the game and is specifically tailored to each student’s needs. “After thorough evaluations of our student’s long game, short game, course management, mental skills and fitness level, our certified staff will design a personalized program featuring proven drills and exercises that will guarantee their improvement,” says Gary Gilchrist. “We provide them with the tools and knowledge they can take home and excel.”

Students can opt for single or multiple weeks in either the tennis or golf academies.
