Jamie & Robbie

Jamie & Robbie – Orlando Garden Wedding – Brian Sumner Photography

Ceremony: Plaza de la Fontana
Reception: Grand Ballroom

Jamie and Robbie were married at Mission Inn Resort’s stunning outdoor garden venue, Plaza de la Fontana.  The ceremony featured accents of purple and pink which complimented the sunset over the lake beautifully.  Jamie and Robbie’s reception was hosted in our Grand Ballroom.  The large and elegant head table made a statement in the reception.  The beautiful, classic wedding cake featured a large “S” as the cake topper.  When cutting the cake, the couple had some fun getting a little cake on their faces.  Jamie and Robbie then danced the night away!

Alaina & Justin – Orlando Garden Wedding – New Vision Photography

Ceremony: Plaza de la Fontana
Reception: Grand Ballroom

Alaina and Justin found their perfect Orlando outdoor garden destination wedding location at Mission Inn Resort; with her family in South Florida and his family in Jacksonville, Mission Inn offered the convenience and central location they were looking for.  The couple said “I Do” at our stunning outdoor garden ceremony location, Plaza de la Fontana.  Guests then enjoyed a sunset cocktail hour in Plaza de Las Palmas.  With over 200 guests from around the world, the Grand Ballroom was the ideal spot to host their elegant reception.  Draped ceilings, chocolate spandex chair covers, tall floral centerpieces, and embellished floral tablecloths, the Grand Ballroom was perfect mix of classic and modern.  Many guests stayed the night at Mission Inn as the couple hosted a farewell brunch the morning after the ceremony.  It was such a pleasure to work with Alaina and Justin.  We wish them all the very best!

Ceremony: Plaza de la Fontana
Reception: Patio del Sol & El Conquistador

Andrea and Richard were looking for classic and simple elegance for their destination wedding.  They found the perfect location at Mission Inn Resort.  Their intimate brunch ceremony took place at Plaza de la Fontana.  The bride wore a beautiful lace detailed dress which complimented the groom’s gray tuxedo.  The reception was hosted in our El Conquistador restaurant with access to a beautiful tiled terrace.  The tables were decorated with white tablecloths and pink orchids which fit perfectly with the couple’s relaxed personalities.  We hope all the very best for Andrea and Richard and we are so glad to have been a part of their wedding day.

Camille & Chiqui

Camille & Dagoberto - Orlando Outdoor Wedding - I Heart Photo

Ceremony: Plaza de la Fontana

Reception: La Hacienda

Camille and Chiqui celebrated their wedding at the Mission Inn Resort in the springtime. The couple decided on exchanging gifts before the wedding.  The challenge was that they didn’t want to see each other first.  Instead, they were both blindfolded and led to Plaza de Las Palmas for their exchange.

The stunning outdoor garden ceremony took place in Plaza de la Fontana.  It was followed by a spectacular peacock inspired reception in La Hacienda.  The tables which featured gold chargers, a small gold candelabrum, a beautiful purple and blue floral arrangement, also had menu cards with a peacock feather placed on top – it was the perfect amount of elegance and style.  One of the many highlights of the reception was the grand four-tier cake, layered with deep purple hydrangeas.  The night ended with a beautiful sparkler exit in our tiled Spanish inspired courtyard.  Mission Inn is thrilled to have hosted Camille and Chiqui’s wedding day.  We wish them all the best!

7 Tips to Survive the Wedding Show

7 Tips to Survive the Wedding Show

Join us for Orlando's BIGGEST wedding event of the year! Did you know that we will be at the Perfect Wedding Guide Show on February 16th at the World Center Mariott?

Bridal Shows give wedding vendors and brides the opportunity to meet and connect. Come join us for a day of wedding planning fun for brides and grooms. Visit http://orlando.pwgshows.com to register for tickets and enter THANKYOU as the coupon code for 2 free tickets.

We wanted to give you a few tips to be better prepared at the show!

1. Create an email address that is only for your wedding planning process. You can give out that email address freely at the show where vendors can contact. Then, once you find vendors that you are interested in, you can give them the best email address to reach you at. Use this email address to register for the show!

Wedding Show Survival Labal

2. Print labels with your contact information and bring them to the show. Many booths (including ours) run great specials and giveaways for brides who attended the show. And any mailing label size will do. You have NO IDEA how much time this will save you at the show. You will want to include the following information:

3. Comfortable shoes are a MUST! It's a lot of walking around and standing to talk to wedding vendors. Wedding Show Survival Matching Shirts

4. Have fun with those who attend the show with you. Wear your wedding colors, match t-shirts, iron on labels. This should be a fun part of the wedding planning process.

5. Bring your check book/credit card to put down a deposit and sign contracts at the show. When you find the perfect vendor for your special day, this is how you can lock them in right away. Also, many specials are good for bookings ONLY at the show! Wedding Show Survival Bag

6. Bring a big bag to put all of the information you collect into. BUT, when you meet a vendor that you really connect with and want to remember them over the others, consider putting their business card/information into your pocket, wallet or purse so it doesn't get lost in the big bag.

7. Lastly, it can be a little bit overwhelming. Just have a plan of who you want to meet and take the time to REALLY talk to those vendors in that category. Maybe it's only florists or the cake is the last thing to check off of the list - whatever your goal for the day, go slow, take your time and get to know some of the great vendors there.

Stop by our booth to enter a free one night stay at Mission Inn Resort! Hope to see you at the show!

Leah & Jason Wedding

Leah & Jason - Orlando Outdoor Wedding - Kaila Lily Photography

Ceremony: Plaza de la Fontana

Reception: La Hacienda

Jason and Leah said “I Do” at Mission Inn in the fall.  Their beautiful outdoor garden ceremony took place at Plaza de la Fontana.  The ceremony was the ideal mix of elegance and simplicity.  With various shades of green and soft pink accents, it was the perfect highlight to the garden backdrop.  The elegant reception took place in La Hacienda, which featured views overlooking the lake.  They enhanced the natural feel of their wedding by using rustic signs and name cards throughout the reception.  Leah and Jason also personalized their reception by using a baseball themed guestbook.  Wedding guests wrote well wished on the baseballs as the couple’s keepsake.  We are so pleased and honored to have been a part of Leah and Jason’s special day.  We wish them all the very best!
